This very special Yoga Nidra (Yoga Sleep) session will use the philosophy and practices of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy to create a deep meditation to explore your mind, emotions, mood and thoughts through the sensations and wisdom of the body. The theme of this session will be Healing the mind, heart and body.
This class will begin with gentle movement, then move on to dive deeply into calming the central nervous system. Similar to a long Savasana at the end of a traditional Yoga class, Yoga Nidra is both deeply relaxing. and moving. By adding the philosophy of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, the journey will become more insightful, fulfilling and rich. While in a state of conscious relaxation, you will be able to explore your inner wisdom and your intuitive drive toward healing.
The session will finish with a guided integration and optional discussion.
All you need is a bit of space for easy movement, and a space on the floor or bed to lie down.
